*Please note: Our globes have a standard lifespan of 500-1000 hours which is typical for Tungsten Filament globes.
We have tested Osram & Phillips globes and they last for around 1000 hours, but they are 4-5 times the cost.
Regarding the slight discoloration inside of our glass globes. This is a thin Phosphorus coating which is added to each globe during manufacture to ensure any remnants of air or moisture in the globe are eliminated. So this is a normal addition to our globes to extend their lifespan as much as possible. It does not affect the output of the globe. Please read here for more information: http://www.lamptech.co.uk/
